Varicose Veins
Varicose veins are enlarged, swollen, and often twisted veins that typically appear dark blue or purple. They usually occur in the legs and can cause discomfort, pain, or aching sensation. Factors like age, genetics, obesity, pregnancy, and prolonged standing or sitting can contribute to their development. Treatment options range from lifestyle changes (like exercise and elevation of legs) to medical interventions such as compression stockings, sclerotherapy, laser therapy, or in severe cases, surgery.
Compression Stockings:
- These special stockings apply pressure to the legs, helping to reduce swelling and discomfort. They are often recommended as a first-line treatment.
Sclerotherapy:
- This involves injecting a solution directly into the varicose veins, causing them to collapse and fade over time.
Laser Treatment (Endovenous Laser Therapy or EVLT):
- A laser fiber is inserted into the vein, delivering laser energy that causes the vein to close and eventually fade.
Surgical Procedures:
- Vein Stripping: Removing the affected vein through small incisions.
- Ambulatory Phlebectomy: Removing smaller varicose veins through tiny punctures.

His very soft spoken, he really treats the patients and family well. He understands the problem of patients. Not just treats them but follows up with them. He makes sure he can do his best and provide his best when under his care. He has saved my life. The best doctor I would recommend it any one wants a plastic surgeon
